One of those "Your Baby Is XX Weeks" emails told me that she likes to hear songs now, that I should sing to her. I'm not a singing person, so I have to admit I didn't do it. But this morning while I was singing happy birthday to DH, she burst into a big smile. I just tried it again (yes, singing "Happy Birthday" to my infant daughter because it's the only song I can think of) and she loves it with a little giggle.
my go-to song is silent night. I don't know all the words so, I hum and make some up. The babies never mind that, though. I also like Me and Bobby McGee, He's got the whole world (in his hands), This little light of mine...I forget what else. Maybe when it's 3am and I'm rocking him and singing, I'll write them down! lol
Mom to 4 beautiful kids! 3 on Earth and 1 in heaven. Our little girl, Matilda Hope had Down Syndrome. She was born with TMD, a disease that is like leukemia. She fought that and beat it. Then, she had liver failure. She beat that, too. On October 17, 2014 she had NEC, necrotizing enterocolitis. My baby went to Heaven on October 19, 2014. She lived exactly one month.
