I was just wondering if you think your baby knows mama or at what age they do. I mean I know my baby for sure knows I am the one with the food. I have noticed that my baby is actually more fussy with me than anyone else. I thought I was just a bad mom but now I am wondering if it is because he knows it is mama. I have a boy and if I didn't know better I would say he is already a mama's boy. I am only allowed to hold him certain ways but anyone else can hold him lots of ways, etc? Other people can put him down and he is fine but if I am in the room he fussy until I am holding him.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Mine definitely knows who I am. She hears my voice and it soothes her and sometimes she just wants me to hold her. Once I hold her she calms down, no food necessary. I think they definitely know.

I believe they know from conception! Lol Clara smiles a lot faster when she sees me than with anyone else so I know she recognizes me. She is also more fussy around me but she knows I have the good stuff and she wants it fast! Lol

My baby girl is fine with others holding her but if I want to hold her then I better be feeding her. As soon as I pick her up she wants to eat so I know she knows who I am. Also she smiles for me and DH all the time but has rarely smiled for anyone else.
