Go back to work and feel like total crud? This happened last time I came off maternity leave as well. I was constantly sick. I'm not sure if it's because of breastfeeding, maybe it takes a lot out of me? But I would think making a baby would take a lot from me but it didn't. I am just so messed up by the end of the day. I'm feverish and cold, but when I get home I go back to normal and feel great by morning, repeat it all over. This is my first week back at work and I've already been sick. I think I over did it by running a mile on monday. I was just trying to be ambitious to start getting ready for my pt test and now I haven't been able to work out all week. I even take emergen-c! And I chug water all day! And most nights I've been able to sleep well. I just don't get it.
Sometimes I don't have time for a good breakfast. I never go without eating but a mc griddle from mcdonalds isn't really the best thing. And since I've been feeling this way my appetite seems non existent.
It could be stress or anxiety induced. Sometimes your body and mind play with you and screw you up, because even though you may not feel it, I think leaving the baby to go back to work does cause a good deal of stress and anciety in the beginning, no matter how prepared for it you are I hope that you feel better soon!
