I find for the last few weeks I am feeling like myself and I want to get back into cooking more but with the baby's current feeding demands she wants to cluster feed from 3-8pm. So curious about what others are eating, might motivate me...lol.
I wanted to ask the same question the other day because everything I make lately doesn't turn out.
Tonight we are having left over egg bake
My egg bake has a harsh brown crust and then pork sausage and peppers, onions and cheese. It is good.
Tomorrow we are having acorn squash and ribye steaks with peppers. I make my squash in the over with butter and maple syrup. It is so good. I make my steaks on the grill with just salt and pepper and they are ok. Not that great at making steak.
That is all I have planned. I would love to hear what everyone else does.
I will mention Monday I tried these new "chicken sausage thingys" and those were bad. Yuck.
Tonight my husband is cooking so we are having rice, sassuage, black beans, and corn all mixed up together with some home made salsa.. But tomorrow ill be cooking so we will have lettuce wraps...then Friday we are having mini chicken pot pies with homemade mashed potatoes. Just easy stuff this week.
I was so thrilled when I felt comfortable enough to cook again. We ate mostly junk for so long. Haha, I am so tired of frozen pizzas! Tonight I want to do a stir fry with tofu. More meals I plan to make in no particular order:
Salmon and rice with a salad
Lentil and vegetable loaf (This is a new recipe cant wait to try it out)
Tacos with guacamole
Vegetable and bean soup
