My baby needs to swaddle or he claws at his face and screams. We used the myswaddle velcos and those were great but now he can't stay in them. He wont sleep on his belly. I have tried a lovie. We double swaddled him now and hubby is in there. Is that bad? He wiggles a lot but doesn't roll. I don't want his to suffocate.

Advice?

I'd be more worried about overheating.

I would also worry about overheating. My ped recommended using socks on Lily's hands instead of mitts. The mitts always fall off.

We did the mitts for a while but he gets them off. He wear jammies with the mitts and he still gets those off and he gets out of his swaddle. How? He actually wiggles out of his jammies (we do the gowns) and the swaddle comes off. I have no idea how because it is tight.

I ended up just uses an light blanket folded and wrapped just around the arm part. He is a turkey though. We are going to have to come up with a long term solution fast because I guess some babies can't control their hands for a few months yet.
