Hope you all had great weekends. I was unfortunately sick all weekend. I think I'm finally over the worst of it although still didn't have the energy today to work out. I'm thinking it may be Wednesday or so before I can work up the energy to get moving again.

For breakfast today we had eggs with toast, lunch is chili with a chicken sandwich and we are grilling out pork chops with sweet potatoes for dinner. Snacks today are bananas and apples.

I hope you're 100% better soon, Melissa, the bugs going around this year seem much worse than usual.

Last night I had a hockey game, yay! My back is pretty sore today so I'm slacking this morning and skipped Stroller Strides.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Melissa!

I have been doing indoor walks this week because the weather has been too cold to leave the house.

Breakfast was oatmeal with raisins, lunch was chicken and rice soup, and dinner is leftovers from the past few days. I had tropical mixed fruit (canned) and apples for a snack.

Nothing for me today. This darn cough is just lingering and I didn't want to work out with it. Maybe tomorrow.

Have you guys ever had dried dates? they are wonderful. My mother in law brought some over last week when the boys were sick and now I am addicted. Great healthy snack.

Boo for the cough! I hate that lingering cough. I hope it clears up soon.

The dates sound good! Don't eat too many at once though...I did that with dried apricots once and farted all day.

Finally feeling better. Cough is still here but not too bad. I managed to get on the treadmill this morning and walk for awhile. I figure I will ease back into things.

Carolyn, my mother in law said the same thing about the dates..lol. So I limit myself to 2 a day.

I got a new cook book by Hungry Girl that has some great simple recipes in it. You all might check it out.

tonight we are having something similar to sloppy joes just a bit more healthy.
