To start I'll give a bit of background on me. I'm Kyle (yes like a guy) and my DH is John. We started to TTC #1 after our first anniversary at the end of May and I'm so excited we didn't have to try long! Hoping it's a sticky little poppy seed. I knew about 3DPO that I was pregnant, I just had that feeling but DH kept telling me it was all in my head. I held off POAS until I was 10DPO and got a faint positive. I've POAS every day since and the line is now as dark as the control line. Pretty EXCITED!
Anyway - my symptoms showed up early. The weirdest have been the vivid dreams since I normally don't remember anything when I wake up. Last night, however, I could not sleep because my hips were aching and I was dreaming of them stretching! Every position HURT except flat on my back. I hope this was just a one night thing... sleep is precious to me!
Hmm, I don't think I have any weird symptoms when I'm pregnant. I get the typical ones like nausea, tiredness, vivid dreams and cravings (but nothing weird haha).
I really hope that was a one night deal for you. That doesn't sound fun at all!
My breasts have been really hurting and I am a tummy sleeper, so that makes it difficult, but once I crash, I am completely out. That has been my biggest symptom so far is that I am soooo tired. I am not a napper, at all. And I have taken a nap almost every day this week. At first I thought it was because I worked a lot of hours last week and traveled a lot several days in a row, but I am still tired, so I am thinking it is probably pregnancy related.
Anyway, glad to see you are joining us! Congrats!!

My DH and I found out we were expecting last weekend and so far the weirdest thing I've experienced is crying one minute and laughing the next. I'm a complete mess. Oh and then there's the constipation (TMI?) which is driving me nuts too. Hopefully the nausea stays away and I can keep up my energy level.
The weirdest craving I had when pregnant was a metallic taste in my mouth. It happend in the early weeks (days?) of all my pregnancies. So after the 1st pregnancy, I knew I was pregnant with the other two, just based on the metallic taste.

I knew I was pregnant with my son because I had MS everyday...all day. But this time, I couldn't keep my hands off DH! Oh, also DH and I started taking 2hour naps at 5pm in the afternoon...
The only symptoms I am really experiencing is being super duper sleepy, loss of appetite and my usual biggest craving is out the door, which is sweets and desserts, totally turning me off, I am getting nausea a bit off and on but nothing significant, my breasts are not really sore but definitely larger and swollen.
Congrats! I don't really have any weird symptoms yet. I am mostly just really fatigued. With my first I remember being super emotional, but this time not yet!
Last night, I was sitting on a bar stool (not at a bar), and all of a sudden i had sharp pain a few inches below my belly button. I can't decide if I should describe it as cramping or stabbing pain. It only lasted about 2 seconds.
I immediately crawled into bed into a fetal position. Throughout the rest of the evening and night, I have continued to have dull cramping and pulling sensations throughout my lower abdomen.
At first, I was of course very very concerned. I have been obsessing about the potential of early miscarriage as it is... But I'm also wondering if this symptom is just related to being constipated/gassy. I ate a piece of pizza last night, so...
Has anyone else ever had sharp cramping? I normally do not get sharp cramping during my period, so it's definitely unusual.
I have had a few sharp cramps. Kind of right on my pelvic bone area. They hurt like crazy and shock me when they happen. I have had those when I've not been pregnant before though too. Not sure what they mean. Because of my loss last time, I am incredibly paranoid about another one. I have been having mild cramping and twinges off and on. They are scaring the crap out of me. Trying not to stress too much though because I know that if this pregnancy is not meant to be, then there is nothing I can do about it. Still freaky though!!

I've had a few sharp cramps and I think it's all gas related or growing pains. I notice them more if I wear tighter pants. I've been really embracing the maxi skirt and dress trend.
On Friday night I was extremely bloated and kept trying to go to the bathroom to pee and barely anything came out. I had read that it's fairly common (sometimes needing medical intervention) and sometime in the wee hours of the night I sat on the toilet until I felt empty. I now make hourly bathroom trips and the problem hasn't come up again.
It's amazing what goes on in our bodies while pregnant!
What tipped me off that I was preggo is the saliva.. I mean it just pours outta my mouth.. I also have been craving training tables ultimate dipping sauce and cheese fries.... This NEVER happens so I took a test and bam! Totally preggo we weren't even trying this month either I'm so excited!!
Wow- let the nausea begin! I haven't had any more sharp cramping today (praise the lord), but I definitely have the pulling sensations/cramping in my abdomen. And I feel super nauseous.
I also have noticed that my lower abdomen seems to be swollen/pushed out. It seems way to early to be showing, but it just looks/feels... different!?
And my boobs are fuller/sore on the undersides.
I guess it's setting in that i really am pregnant! Didn't trust the test results at all at first. I am so excited!
My teeth feel sore..... It is very weird as it isn't my gums or tenderness, all my teeth feel achy. I noticed it when I was eating some crackers. Don't remember that with my first pregnancy.
Mine was last night while in the shower the water hit my nipple and it HURT so bad. It happened with both of my previous pregnancies also. So I pretty much knew once that happened.
After I O'd the next few days I was nauseous and crampy but they went away. With Jaxson I was like that from O until 15 weeks because I had HG. I'm hoping it stays away this pregnancy.
My symptoms are so much different than all my pregnancies.. I feel like I have none (Which worries me a bit!) but something I have noticed is I'm extremely tired..and easily aggravated. I feel like I'm constantly in the PMS mood.
I've had lots of fatigue (TWO naps today...so far!), and sore breasts. Also, lots of cramps - some not so mild! I think that may be due to my scars from two lap. sugeries for endo, though. I did have some weird dreams during my naps and woke up drooling! I also feel (and look) really bloated.
