Hi! I'm Lynda and dh is Jason. Our son Eli just turned 2 1/2 and our daughter Rochelle just turned 1. We just found out on Monday that we are expecting our third baby. This was a huge shock since we were done having kids and i was taking birth control. Dh is not happy in the least.

Tuesday i went for blood work and had a beta of 1600 and progesterone was 15. My doctor put me on progesterone pills for the next month. I go on Wednesday July 18 for an ultrasound to date the pregnancy and see a heartbeat.

Anyway, that's my story. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

14 DPO: HCG- 64.2 Progesterone:12.9
19 DPO: HCG- 887
Started progesterone supplements 8/28 (20 DPO)
27 DPO: HCG- 11,214 Progesterone: 15.8
1st U/S & 1st OB appointment- 9/10/2012 ~ HB 126 and baby looks good so far!!

WELCOME! I totally understand the idea about other half not being so thrilled..... but just wait until they get to see the baby on the ultrasound and hold the baby.. their little walls will crumble!

Welcome to the group! Our last baby was an on birth control shock as well. My DH did not feel ready for a baby so I know all about those feelings! It took him about 6 months to fully warm up to the idea. Hope he adjust to the new life plan quickly

YAY Lynda!!! You already know how thrilled I am for you....I'm so excited we get to be in a DDC together again, although it's funny to think back to when you & I were both in TTCAL and still trying to conceive Eli & Savannah

I know you're DH is in shock, but he'll be ok - you both are such fabulous parents, and this will be a very lucky baby!

Thanks ladies! I am really hoping DH warms up soon. I told him once I see the heartbeat at my appt on Wednesday he is going to need to accept it and not be so negative!
