I need help. I made a grilled cheese sandwich and now I don't want it. It just tastes funny to me. What are you having for lunch? I was going to make spaghetti but I actually decided to make it for dinner tonight. I looked at our leftovers and none really scream YUM to me. I'm at a loss. I may go grab a PopTart....which is bad, I know, but I can't find anything else I want.

I'm no help, I had a protein smoothie (tasted like a lemon girl scout cookie!). I'll have some snacks later too...I hate lunch, I never know what to have!

I've had this problem SO many times over the last two weeks! I want something, I make it or buy it, take a few bites, then claim that it "tastes funny"..... I dunno what is going on!!!

A huge salad with cucumbers, peppers, beets, olives, fontina cheese, tomatoes, and a slice of Ezekiel bread. Oh and iced coffee. I'm trying to cut down on the coffee. Apparently I was drinking like 400mg of caffeine a day.

I've just been snacking, not feeling hungry enough to have an entire meal. Earlier I had a handful of almonds. Now I'm about to eat an apple and some cheese.

Don't shoot me, but I had a cold ham/cheese/veggie sandwich on pumpernickel with cucumbers on the side. I snacked on some spinach/artichoke dip after that because I was still hungry. I forgot to heat the ham before I ate it. I think I'll be okay.

I have been craving a chicken salad sandwich all week long. I decided to make one today and it didn't really taste all that great. Such a let down!

Doesn't it just suck? I had one poptart and I just feel "meh". At first I was going to have a bologna sandwich but decided that I probably shouldn't since it's lunch meat. Oh well, I'll just snack on stuff. I can't wait to go to the store tomorrow to get food. I think I may not take Jesse with me so he won't restrict what I buy. LOL

I made manwich with ground turkey last night to bring for lunch today, and it is NOT sitting well with me. DH is picking me up in an hour, and he will be getting a "please bring me chick fil a" text very soon.

The only thing that sounds good today is cheese I've had a couple string cheese things and an apple. But I think I'm going to try and eat a peanut butter sandwich here in a couple minutes.

Now you have entire new cravings! I have a friend who texts me at various times of the day just saying different foods, just to get my cravings going.

Something with brown rice is my standby - because it's brown rice I accept that it is supposed to taste funny. Because it is basically rice, it calms my tummy. Because it has fiber it helps with the um... effects of the iron in my prenatal vitamin.

I had broccoli & cheese soup from Quiznos and it was delicious. Exactly what I wanted.... but now I'm HOT!! LOL I can't win.....
I get full on cravings from basically the minute I find out that I'm pregnant. It's happened every time! Consistent with my last pregnancy, I LOVE CHEESE! Even more so now that I'm pregnant. (I loved it before too, not gonna lie!)
For those of you with morning sickness, I've read protein is really good for morning sickness - eggs, oatmeal, or even a protein shake would be good choices to start your day if you can stomach it. Out here they have "Rockin' refuel" chocolate milk w/ added protein & it's delicious. When I can't stomach anything else, I drink this and LOVE it!

Mmmm... now I want Chinese too! Although, I'd probably get it, take 2 bites, and then decide I didn't want it anymore. lol.

For nausea, my doctor recommends regular small snacks with carbs, fat and protein together - like some peanut butter or cheese on crackers. Doesn't sound appealing, though. I got some Nabisco "Belvita" morning snacks (which are like sweet biscuit/cookie/crackers with whole grains and some protein in little packs of 4). Having one at a time while I sit at my desk in the morning keeps my queasiness at bay.
