It'll probably be just 2. One at 8 weeks, and one to find out gender. I had one at the end of my first pregnancy b/c I was past my due date, but something tells me the midwife won't be concerned with that.

The Dr I'm seeing does 3 ultrasounds - 8 weeks, 18 weeks, and 28 weeks.
Every dr I've seen before this only does one or two... if they do two, it's usually 8 weeks & 20 weeks and if just one, usually around 20 weeks...
With the move & everything else going on, I will have at least 3. Two early scans, at 7 weeks and then at 8 weeks, and then I know I'll have at least one sometime in later pregnancy, probably around 18-20 weeks... Not sure if I will still be w/ the same OB for the 28 week one.
With my daughter I was only to have one and I had 2 because of bleeding. With my son I was only to have 2 and wound up having 5 due to bleeding, preterm labor, and then midwife not being able to find a heartbeat on the doppler.

I'm not really sure how many I'm technically supposed to have since this is my first, but I would assume 2

My RE is doing one at 7 weeks before releasing me to the OB. The OB will do one at my 1st appointment there, 1 around 20 weeks, and then if this one is late like my DS, I'll have one around 40 weeks.

I had 9 with Wyatt, and 7 with Brianna. The transvaginal u/s at 7-8 weeks, the nuchal translucency test at 11-12 weeks, the anatomy scan at 17-20 weeks, then 4 or 5 more "growth" scans from week 33 on. They watch me extra close since I'm post gastric bypass. The concern is that I can't eat enough to make baby grow fat. Both my kids have been smallish, but they've both been early. Bree was 6lb3oz at 37.5 weeks, Wyatt was 6lbs at 36w5days

I haven't even had my first Dr. appt. yet (It's a new Dr. and I'm scheduled for next Monday), so I'm not sure what her plan will be. But if it's similar to my first, then it will be 3. One early on to date, another around 20W for measurements, and then one near the end to make sure the baby's not too big! (I had GD the first time around, so they were watching his size, but he came out at a healthy 7lb 9oz).

I had one last week and another this week to make sure I don't have anything wrong, one for the NT and another at 20 weeks. Plus I usually pay out of pocket for a 3D scan in my 3rd trimester.

I'll probably just have the two unless there are complications. Had one already at 6 1/2 weeks and will wait until about 20 weeks to do the second one.

My OB does 2: a transvaginal one at 8 weeks and the 20 week one to check out baby (and find out the gender if we want to).
Unless there is an issue, then she would do more. Let's hope for no issues!

I have no idea. With my son I had an early one, an NT scan, gender scan, and an elective 3D u/s. I always love seeing my beans and u/s are not harmful in any way to the baby so why pass up the opportunity catch a glimpse?

Zero unless there's a medical need. I've never had one while pg.

i know i'll have 5 minimally, and i suspect it'll end up being more than that if they label me high risk (which i'm expecting). Right now the u/s schedule will look roughly like this:
7w2d u/s - with RE
~8wks u/s - with OB
~12wks Level II u/s - with peri
~20wk u/s - with OB
~20wk Level II u/s - with peri
I think there's a high probability that peri won't discharge me at 20wks but I won't know that until my first consult with him. If I continue under his care i'm guessing they will do periodic monitoring u/s and/or NSTs until birth (likely induction plan around 39 wks).

I'll have one at 10 weeks, one at about 18 or 19 weeks, and I'll have them almost weekly during the last couple of months to monitor. I'll also have a 3d/4D at some point as well. I love that my OB is happy to do lots of them for me, but I don't know what their standard OP is for non-high-risk patients.

1 at 20 weeks, possibly another earlier. I'll be with a new doctor this time around so I'm not exactly sure. Preferably, though, just the one at 20 weeks because that means everything is going as it should.

I think it just depends how good the machine is and how full your bladder is, etc. Sometimes they can do them over the skin, sometimes they have to do it transvaginally...
