I have started looking at double strollers. I don't want to spend a fortune on one but also need one that will work with a chicco car seat. I am looking at the Baby trend sit n stand ultra. I think that's whAt it is called. I have read online that it will work with mycar seat even though it doesn't say it on baby trend's website. Does anyone know which double strollers will work with a chicco car seat?

I'm not sure if that will work with your car seat but I had a friend who bought the sit & stand one and she really seemed to like it with her newborn and almost 3 year old....

ETA: I had to do the double stroller thing for a while with my kids and I never liked the side by side ones... I felt like they were too hard to navigate in stores... I definitely recommend reading reviews about the navigation in tight areas of different strollers. I wound up with a yard sale find - $20 Graco double stroller & it lasted until we no longer had use for it. I liked it but again, not always the best for tight spaces like department stores w/ the racks in the middle of the floor & kinda close together...

Im still trying to decide if I want to do a double stroller. DS will turn 3 next May, so Im thinking he might not need a stroller anymore, maybe just one of those toddler skateboards on the back.

We were looking at the Joovy caboose stand on tandem stroller. I am also looking for one compatible with a Chicco car seat, and I believe it is.

Im going to get a City Select stroller, that can be converted into a double when I need it to. Its kinda pricey, but I see them used all the time. You could maybe look on your local Craigslist.

Just got a Graco Quatro Tour double stroller on Craigslist for $100! I love it! I also don't like the side by sides because I always see kids at the zoo fighting in them. I don't want The Sequel ending up choking on snacks that Miles insisted on sharing. I think the Graco strollers will lock in with any caraway because there are adjustable levers. Not sure, though.

Well we actually went to toys r us tonight and I tried the car seat on the baby trend stroller and did not like the way it fit on the stroller. I like the chicco double but it is so big and its $300. I just don't know if I want to spend that much.

I have a phil & ted sports stroller. They certainly aren't the cheapest option, but my husband often is heard saying it was "the best money we've ever spent." We love it so much! It feels like you are pushing a single! And it is great over any terrain. Also wonderful for running. I think they run around $400-450. Worth every penny.
