So back at the ER again tonight. 2 weeks ago I went with abdominal pain and found out I had a UTI.

Tonight back to the ER with cramping & spotting....

HcG level: 30,000+
Baby is a-OK! Heartrate of 112 bpm.

The u/s tech was not a nice person... she wouldn't let me see the screen, I got no pics, nothing. Only way I got that information was through the Dr, who didn't even get a pic from the u/s either. What a bunch of crap...

BUT... the baby is okay...

However.... she said I have a few subchorionic bleeds... and to follow up with the OB on Monday... and in the meantime rest rest rest & RELAX. As a mom of 2 small children "relaxing" and "resting" all weekend should be fun...

But I'm going to try and rest... and try to resist googling this crap....

Hope everyone else had a better Friday night than I did!

Sometimes knowledge is power....but when you're pregnant, google will drive you insane. (says the one who's on at 1:28 a.m. all wild eyed).

I'm sorry your tech was such a snot but so glad to hear about the great hcg level and heartbeat - that's exciting! Best wishes for you!

Sounds like a ER ultrasound tech. They aren't like a regular u/s tech that will give you a boatload of pictures, and I hate that! Glad baby is ok and you are ok! DO NOT GOOGLE!!!

Why are ER doctors and staff such boobs? Even from my own personal experience from going to the ER...they are always rude. I'm sorry your tech was nasty, but I'm so relived baby is okay. Really try to rest until Monday...your body needs it.

Ugh, I'm sorry you got such a crappy U/S tech. Especially being a woman, you would think she would understand how relieved you would be just to see a quick glimpse of your baby!

I'm glad you guys are okay and I hope the bleeding and cramping stop soon!

Goodness, why such a lack of compassion? It's really SAD! However, I am REALLY glad baby is ok, THAT'S a blessing. I totally get you with the "rest" thing. it's virtually impossible for me to rest with my 3 yr old bouncing all over me and the house and getting in stuff. I guess just TRY to sit as much as possible and delegate what you can.

My sis is a ER nurse, and their u/s techs don't have machines with picture capabilities. They are usually just little portable machines that they can wheel from room to room. However...they should have let you see!! So glad everything is okay!

I doubt the machines could capture pics but she could have let you see! Gosh!

I am also going threw this. It's so hard not to worry about it..hopefully our doctors will get both of us in fast so they can be monitored.
