Went for our first ultrasound today. They did not find a yolk sac or a fetal pole, and I am 6 weeks and 6 days. The gestational sac is measuring at 6 weeks and 2 days, but there should be something inside of it. I still have symptoms, so my doc said there is still some hope. She thought maybe the tech couldn't find the sac because of my retroverted uterus. We did bloodwork today, and I have another ultrasound next Wednesday. Guess we will just wait and see.

Got my bloodwork back. Progesterone is 16.1, and over 15 is good. HcG is over 17,000, and over 6,000 is considered good. Just have to wait for the ultrasound next Wednesday.

I'm sorry your appt wasn't great, but you are still early, I wouldn't be too worried just yet. So much can happen in these early days.

Oh my goodness...how frustrating for you! It could have just been an inexperienced US tech. Which STINKS. They should have sent you in for another...sooner (just because it's TERRIBLE to wait...)

I hope everything is okay! It probably is still early and I agree I believe they should send you for an u/s earlier instead of making you wait a week!

Oh no. That is not fun to sit around and not know. That's why sometimes I wish they didn't do an u/s until 8 weeks so there's no guessing game. But what can ya do. Hope you get good news!

The tech might not have the experience to scan your uterus effectively. Fingers crossed you get someone else.
