I know EXACTLY how you feel. When I first found out I was pregnant, I went nuts cleaning wanting to start to get my house "perfect'.....well that lasted 2 days, not I have no get up and go. I call it a great day if all 3 kids are fed and bathed, and hubby gets 1 hot meal and has clean clothes to wear to work. I have got to get out of this slump...I think I am also having caffeine withdrawl.

YES. And i think my husband is starting to think I'm making up excuses for not having enough energy to do as much cleaning as I used to. I wish he could feel how I feel sometimes...

I'm useless till about 6pm. I've been getting breakfast together the night before so I can do as little as possible in the morning.

Laundry piledup, house a disaster.... We are having a couple families over for DS belated birthday. I was supposed to make brunch. That has changed to me ordering pizzas...

I'm the same way. I feel like I don't wake up until around 4pm. It's really pathetic. Lol

Yup. My dishes are getting pretty out of hand. Bleh, tomorrow will be the day for those! I barely have the energy to make it through the work day.

Oh yes, I'm so nauseous and tired that all I wanna do is lay down 24/7. Of course, with a 19 month old I can't do that but one can dream. My DH doesn't get it either, he seems to think I can make myself be bursting with energy and do all kinds of stuff. What world is he living in?

I don't want to do anything around the house, but if napping was a sport I could be in the Olympics this year!

I'm the same way. I always keep a clean house and right now there are dirty dishes on the counter, loads of laundry piled up, beds not made, and my son's toys all over the house! I have absolutely no energy. Not even enough to care about the mess, which is unusual for me!

Yep, I let the dishes pile up for 3-4 days and finally did them yesterday. I'm pretty worthless and I don't work. I can imagine what you ladies who work are going through.

My house looks like a war-zone. I've been working on it a little at a time, but I panicked this week because I realized I have to go back to work on Tuesday! I've been keeping my laundry done but that's about it. This weekend we're purging a lot of clutter and crap again and getting my kitchen back under control, but I can't do it without DH, no way would I be able to get anything done.

I think my hubby needs to read this post. He thinks I'm just being lazy. He just doesn't understand! And he keeps bringing up that I wasn't like this last time. Well last time I didn't have a child already and only worked weekends. So he didn't realize I was taking multiple naps during the day. Now I go to bed at like 9 and nap with DD. and struggle getting up in the morning! Looking forward to the second trimester and some more energy!!

Yes, unfortunately... We have hardly any clean dishes, the laundry IS clean... but sitting in the hamper on the floor waiting to be folded. If I wasn't such a germ freak I would be lazy enough not to shower every night.

I'm gonna go hide now. Not because I have some wealth of energy, I don't. I haven't felt like doing crap for a good 2 weeks now. But SO understands, says that making a baby is hard work, and he doesn't mind doing things since I'm the one doing all the work with the baby. Somedays I really love him

I have no energy at all at the moment (although I do manage to keep on top of the laundry but that's about it) and would really like to spend my days just lying on the sofa. But with two little ones to look after that's never going to happen. I feel so guilty because it's the summer holidays and the kids have no pre-school for the next six weeks but I'm too tired and nauseated to take them out anywhere. I've had to arrange several playdates so they at least get to see their friends.

Well I have a long term chronic condition of "don't wanna do anything", especially cleaning. It has nothing to do with pregnancy for me. I just hate cleaning and feel I can do better things with my time. Like not cleaning. Or watching TV.

My girls have been helping around the house a lot though. Ah children. Free labor.

YES. I am normally super high energy - to the point that my husband asks me to please sit down because he's getting seasick from watching me run around. But right now I find myself falling asleep on the subway en route to work, hiding under my desk to shut my eyes and not able to stay awake past 9 pm.

If there was a degree for laying in one spot, I would have a doctorate! I'm a very active person, not really one to sit still and it's gotten to the point that i can't get out of the house! I took my girlfriend to get her nails done for her birthday and i passed out as soon as i got home! Sad part is, I'm only 4 weeks and 5 days . Can't wait until my belly is bigger than i am....
