So apparently Houston is one of the only place that doesn't answer blood test and a center where they do genetic testing. They are scanning for DNA in the maternal blood so obviously if xx shows up then obviously you're having a girl and if there's a Y-chromosome showing up in your blood you're having a boy.
I know a friend who had it done and it was correct both times and scouring the Internet keeps showing me people who had it done and it was right every time. I think you might have to go to the center in Houston on Fannin to get it done though. Anyone doing it?!

I live way too far away to do it. We're still debating whether we're gonna do a CVS or Amniocentesis due to my chromosome translocation. Not sure I want to risk it...

Maybe I just hop in the car and start driving one day and hey look I'm in Texas, while I'm here might as well keep going to Houston. Hey I once hopped in the car and started driving and wound up in Reno (I had seriously not planned that, but once I crossed into NV I figured, why not).

If you decide to do it, can you take me with you???
Haha! We'll swing by Eegees on the way out of town! Sorry Shasta, DE is still a little far for me to "accidently" drive too, or I'd bring you one!
At least overnight me some!!!

You live in Phoenix and you don't know what Eegees is?! You must find someone to take you there ASAP. Don't get the flavor of the month...this month it's Watermelon and tastes like cough syrup. Get lemon or pina colada. And some ranch fries....

They sell subs and fries and such, but what they're known for is this kind of slushie type drink/snow cone thing. Their website calls it a frozen fruit slush. And it is awesome.
I love their chili cheese fries too! And they have a location in Casa Grande, which I think is slighly closer to me!
You can order DNA gender kits online that also work by taking a sample of the mother's blood. They're expensive though and I'm not sure they're as reliable as that place.
^ I think most of those have been sued because they aren't as reliable as they claim

I vote we plan a road trip. Casa Grande isn't that far. Are you in the east valley or what?
