I have noticed some aching when I wake up I associated it with my bladder and how bad i have to go! Lol But today it actually felt more like mild menstral cramps. They were a dull ache that lasted about 30 to 40 mins. They were also much lower than in my abdominal area then my typical menstral cramping.
I assume it is my uterus stretching and growing. Should I expect this the entire pregnancy? And why after i wake up? Im not getting out of bed too quickly or anything. I see my midwife in a week and since there is no bleeding or sever pain I figure I am just fine. Curious what other might be feeling with stretching and growing of our uterus and baby!

During my first pregnancy I had "period" cramps my entire first trimester (never accompanied by any bleeding). As long as your cramps aren't any worse than your regular period cramps and your not bleeding i'd say it sounds entirely normal. I have them this time around too

You're going to have parts stretching you didn't even know you had, right up until delivery!

I get cramps and aches and pains all the time. It's just everything stretching and moving around in there to make space for a growing baby. If the cramping isn't accompanied with bleeding I'd say what you're feeling is normal.

Yeah, I have had some cramping and stretching stuff too. Only this time, I know more of what to expect. I can even feel my organs moving around back into last pregnancy-position too. It's kinda weird feeling..

Isn't it? I don't remember this at all from last time, it's almost like he or she is already wiggling around enough for me to feel.

I have had some menstrual like cramping and called my OB this morning. Nurse said that it's my body stretching and as long as it's not concentrated on one side more than the other or accompanied by spotting or bleeding, that I was alright and had nothing to worry about.

I did for the first few weeks after I found out but now I only get cramps if I have gas or have to pee. I think it is perfectly normal.

I've noticed that if I need to pee really badly, like first thing in the morning, that I'm very crampy.

I always have pain/cramping when I have to pee, and it gets worse the longer I hold it. I agree with everyone else, the cramping and stretching feeling is all part of the fun of being pregnant

Yup, agree w/ all the others. Also wanted to add I can tell something is up with stretching. When I get up from my desk after sitting for a while and go to walk around, I get this "pulled muscle" feeling but it gets better after a minute or two. I think it's just things resituating! Weird though.
