I am just looking for some comfort I guess with my in limbo situation of not knowing if this pregnancy is a go. I was wondering for all you March due dates when you first saw the baby on the u/s? I know that the dating on them can be pretty off by about two weeks give or take (according to my doctor) but I was hoping some of you could tell me your dates and I would possibly feel better.

I doubt this will help ease your mind, and I apologize, but I just had my first ultrasound this week to determine how far along I am. I was 9 weeks on Tuesday. Baby was measuring about the size of a grape.

I have had 3 ultrasounds already. At 5 weeks 4 days they only saw a gestational sac, yoke sac and fetal pole. A week later, 6 weeks 5 days we saw the baby and the flickering heartbeat. At 9 weeks 6 days we heard the heartbeat and saw the baby and little limbs. I hope that this information is helpful for you. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!! The 1st trimester is so nerve racking but hang in there!!

mine was at 7wks (with my RE), and i've had another at 8wks (with my OB).

Have you already had an u/s and they weren't seeing everything yet? Especially if you're early on (earlier than 7wks) it can be tricky to see things...and being off on your dates by even a few days can radically impact what's visible. How far along are you right now? (((HUGS)))

I am not really sure. I thought based on my LMP on June 5th that I would be about 8 weeks now. I found out on July 2nd I was preggers and my HCG level was 25. Guessing I ovulated later than the standard 28 day cycle.

Then I had mild cramps and had u/s on July 23rd and a gestational sac was seen. My levels went from 1100 on Tuesday to 2200 on Friday so that was a good doubling. Had u/s on Aug 6th with docs portable machine and she saw nothing but the sac. scheduled u/s with technicians machine in office today and again just a sac. But they did the sac has grown since my last appt.

She thinks I was maybe a few days pregnant when I found out since it was with a blood test and I am only 6 1/2 weeks right now. Said it is usually 7 weeks before seeing baby and all on u/s.

ok so if i back through my #s i definitely think you ovulated later than CD14/28D cycle...

My LMP is 6/1...because i triggered i know i ovulated between 6/12-6/13...i got my + hpt (very faint) on 6/22...and then on 6/25 hcg level came back at 54.

So if we use your dates instead...you look like you were running maybe 2+ weeks behind me and possibly even more depending on how rapidly (or slowly) your early hcg was rising. I think it's definitely possible that you're only 6 1/2 - 7 weeks along...when will they bring you in for another u/s? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - that the sac grew in size is a good sign.

Hmm it all depends I think. I was 6 weeks 4 days first time I saw baby with a transvaginal u/s. I heard and saw the hb at that appt. hopefully in a few days you will be able to see your little one!!

How good are the ultrasound machines they are using? I ask because I got my first u/s at 5 weeks 4 days on a crappy machine and just saw the sac, by 6 weeks 1 day we could see a tiny flicker but again it was a crap machine, by 7 weeks we seen my OB that has a good machine and seen a clear as day heartbeat, 2 in fact ....you should definitely see something by 7 weeks on a good machine, hoping your dates are just off!

The little picture in my avatar is of my 3rd baby at 6 weeks 0 days. You could see a heartbeat and everything! I haven't had an ultrasound done with this baby yet, but I can't wait until my appointment next week!

According to my LMP I should be 8 weeks, but at my u/s I was measuring at just about 7 weeks. I got to see the baby on the screen and the flicker of the heart!

I had an US at 5 1/2 weeks and saw a sac and fetal pole, went back a week later at 6 1/2 weeks and saw a baby and flickering heartbeat.

With DD 1 our first ultrasound was at 6 weeks and we saw the heartbeat. DD 2 was 7 weeks 2 days. This baby 6 weeks.

about 7 weeks the first time, almost 8 weeks yesterday the second time. I go back in 2 weeks and might get another peek. And the perinatologist will be doing the NT scan in 3-5 weeks

Tomorrow is my fourth u/s! I'll be 7 weeks, 3 days.

My first I was 4 weeks 5 days, but thought I was a week ahead. We saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac, no baby.

A week later (almost 6 weeks) we saw a tiny little speck with a fluttering, which was the heartbeat. We couldn't hear it, but the tech could record the speed.

The next one at 6 weeks 3 days (b/c I had started bleeding and cramping) you could easily see the little bean and the heart beating away.

I'll update what we see tomorrow.

i had my first u/s at 6w5d and saw the babe and the fluttering hb! i have my second next week and will be 7w6d the doc said we'll be able to hear the hb then. that's why she has me going back so soon to record the hb!

i know how scary it can be though. i had a blighted ovum back in 2010 and had about 3 or 4 u/s within 3 weeks or so. the first one was on a crap machine and the doc thought he saw a smudge of a baby. the next ones though were on better machines and the fetal pole was never seen. i'm not writing this to scare you but to inform you that if you see nothing by 6-8 weeks then that is most likely what is going on. but also with this, since your numbers doubled you should be fine! my numbers didn't double with the blighted ovum and in fact sputtered out around 1100 or so. hope this helps!

My first u/s at 5w5d showed the baby measuring 5w6d with a heartbeat of 120. They did do a transvaginal ultrasound though.

I had my first u/s today at what I thought was 8 weeks 4 days. It showed a tiny baby and yolk sac and measured closer to 7 weeks 6 days. I'm not worried though because my periods are irregular and 7 weeks 6 days does line up better with when I got my bfp. I'm not changing my ticker though because the doctor is keeping the original due date.
