I feel absolutely horrible (sick, tired, migraine, etc) and I just broke down this morning and started crying. I have never been one to handle being sick well, but I just don't know how much more of this I can take. The Zofran only works so well, and then the aura migraines that I've been having lately is just the thing that made me crack. All I want to do is sleep. I don't care about if I eat or not, or get up and move. And if I go outside I get sick, if I get in the car I get sick, etc. I am just so not a happy camper and I just want it to stop. I told Jesse this is the last time I'm getting pregnant. No matter what happens, I will not be having another pregnancy and we will just have to adopt or foster or something.

I know I'm being a huge baby and some women would kill to feel this way (hell a year ago I would have killed to feel this way too) but this sucks. It really does. I have my ultrasound on Tuesday and I'm just hoping that I won't have any issues while I'm there at the hospital (and hopefully I won't throw up in my car on the way there) and I hope to God it goes well because I'll be alone (Jesse can't go with me to this one) and I really really don't want to get bad news and then have to drive myself home.

Can't you girls tell I'm a huge mess of emotions right now? LOL. I swear, if I can just get through the first trimester without any more issues I would be the happiest person ever.

This too shall pass. Just remember how long you waited to be pregnant and I'm sure it'll help offset some of the crappy things you're feeling right now... and in 7 more months you'll forget all about it and be ready for another one - trust me!

Oh and to top it off, my husband told me that this nausea is "All in my head and I just need to stop thinking about it."

I almost killed him yesterday.

Big hugs!!! I hope it goes away soon and you aren't a woman who's sick the whole time. It really does stink!

My pregnancy with my daughter was a lot like yours! When i was pregnant with my boys it was much better! Hopefully once you get through the 1st trimester you'll feel better. I went to school for holistic health and one thing I recommend to pregnant woman for nausea is B6 supplements. They are 100% safe for baby and after you take them for a couple weeks the nausea should become less intense and you should have more energy! Hope you feel better!

((hugs)) I've done the same thing a few times. Being this level of unrelenting sick is sooo hard. Hopefully the next few weeks go by quickly for you!

((Hugs)) everything is going to be okay!

As to your DH.. mine said that to me while pregnant with my first. I was sooo mad at him! I seriously chewed him out and he never again gave me a hard time! As if we *want* to feel sick?! Ugh!

I'm so sorry you are feeling so sick

Have to talked to your doctor to see if there is something else they can try you on? I know people who have taken Diclectin? I'm not sure if it's any better though.

I hope you get some relief soon!

How much B6 should you take?

I completely understand. I have had a total of 7 sets of aura's in just 2 weeks with killer headaches. 4 Just today. I am very close to going to the hospital to see if there is something they can do for me. I can't handle it anymore.

Sorry you're feeling awful. I feel like utter crap too. Being nauseous ALL the time is freaking terrible! I haven't had many headaches but I'm right there with you on being sick. I can't wait for this part to get better

Oh and my DH thinks that since some pregnant women don't get morning sickness then those of us that get it bad are just being wimps. I wanted to rip his head off the other night when he was saying that's just need to get over it. Yeah, cause I can do that!!!

i'm sorry you're feeling so crappy and so down . i understand some. i wasn't sick at all with my son and this one is just really hard to get through the nausea at times.

as far as your husband goes. smack him upside his head. my hubby didn't understand the nausea at first because i didn't have any with our son. idk what made him realize that it is real and no fun at all but he is sympathetic to my nausea now.

I know how you feel. Whenever I get sick, whether it be the flu or a cold, I just get really down mentally and emotionally as well.

My nausea never stops. When I was pg with my boys at least it would come and go. This never stops. I wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep because I'm sick.

It doesn't matter if I eat or not. I'm done with this, it's so hard to even care for my boys when I feel so bad.

I hope you get some relief soon from something! Oh, and your DH's comment about it being in your head...slap him for me ok??

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I have had aura migraines in the past, so I can understand how miserable you feel. Have you tried not watching tv or reading anything for a few hours? I have heard that can sometimes help your eyes to relax (though when I had them I thought it would never end)

Sending lots of good thoughts for you to feel better soon! A few more weeks and you will hit the 2nd trimester and hopefully some of the symptoms will ease up.

If it makes you feel better, my husband also gets a bit rude to me too with the morning sickness.

As far as the aura migraines, the vision changes usually only last about 10 minutes, it's the incredibly horrible pain that follows closely behind that gets me. I've literally thrown up because of the pain. I'm kind of hoping that scheduling Tylenol w/Caffeine every 6 hours will keep it at bay. It helped today, we'll see about tomorrow.

I'm sooo sorry you are feeling this way especially with the migraines!!! I have horrible nausea/vomitting and like you I have sworn off having any more children! I don't want to EVER go through this again and I completely understand about feeling guilty for feeling this way. I hope as the second trimester approaches that all of us will start feeling better.

As for your DH...try wretching and vomitting in front of him and see if he comments. I now carry a mini trash can around with me all over the house and vomit at will....in the bed..in the kitchen..on the couch. I don't care. I love hugging that little trash can. Now my poor husband is nauseated too.

That is funny! I could just see how that would drive him to nausea.

I'm sorry some of you are so sick though!

I was really sick like this with my second daughter. You might have to go to the hospital and get IV fluids.

Hope you feel better soon!

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I can totally sympathise as I have suffered with awful sickness/nausea with each of my pregnancies (so bad this time I was crying in my out of hours doctor's office at 10pm on a Sunday night pleading with him to do something, anything to get rid of my sickness). Perhaps you could speak to your doctor about combining meds to help you feel better? I find Zofran works ok on it's own but when combined with Phenergan it gives me much better relief (I take the Phenergan at night before bed and the Zofran first thing in the morning before I get up). I do hope you start feeling better soon and can begin to enjoy the pregnancy.

I wish you luck Hun! I feel your pain, though I know I am not going through it quite as strong as you. I hope you don't have to work, that would be rough in your condition!
