Until the first trimester is over, and hopefully I can start feeling a little better! I have been nauseous 24/7- no throwing up thank God- but the constant nausea has left me with NO appetite. I can take a bite of something here or there, and have been snacking on crackers throughout the day, but I cannot force myself to sit down and eat a whole meal. Or even half of one for that matter. As a result, I have lost about 10-12lbs in the last month. Just crazy. I'm overweight to begin with, so my doc isn't too worried about the weight loss, (And baby should be getting plenty of nutrition from the little food I'm able to eat and my prenatals, right?) but I am SO ready to start feeling better. Ugh, I hope these three weeks fly by and that the 2nd trimester is my magical cure!

Oh my goodness, I totally know how you feel. I NEVER felt like this with Hannah....it was the easiest most pleasant pregnancy. I have been SO sick with this one....between nausea and smell aversions and just plain old weird appetite (starving but can't force food past my lips)...SO glad to be in my 2nd Trimester NEXT week!

It's easing a lot now already but honestly, my problem now is just...I don't want to eat! I'm REALLY hungry but I try to eat and really end up only eating as much as my 3 yr old! I'm a bit concerned because I've lost 11 lbs total but had some extra lbs to lose anyways...so not terribly upset. Just ready to have an appetite again!

I'm 11 weeks now and things have started to calm down. But those last couple weeks, 9-10, were horrible! I couldn't eat anything, I had to force feed and even then I would gag. I would even gag brushing my teeth! Luckily it's going away now and I'm able to eat more.

I hope it starts calming down for you too!! Good luck!

Weeks 9-10 were terrible, the absolute worst. Started getting better though and as long as I still take my unisom at night I do okay. Hopefully the next few weeks fly by for you!

Oh man, you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that you girls started feeling better after weeks 9/10. Gives me some hope that maybe I'll start feeling better sooner! I guess I had no idea how easy I had it with DD. The only symptom I ever had in the 1st tri. was slight fatigue, past that I couldn't even tell I was pregnant! Oh how lucky I was... LOL. I just have to keep reminding myself that this will be SO worth it in the end.

I am with you, I am constantly nauseous and can barely eat. I have been force feeding myself for weeks. I am counting down the days, but I am terrified I won't feel any better just because I hit the second trimester!

Hope all of you ladies feel better soon. I have been nauseated off and on since 7 weeks, and it has just gotten worse this 9th week. No throwing up, but defiinitely more nauseated than i was with my son. Had a perfect pregnancy with him. NO nausea at all!

I wonder, for those of you who had no nausea with your first, and are now having nausea, does it mean you may have the opposite sex? Just sayin.
