Is anyone else itching!! Like really bad?? My stomach and legs are itching to the point i think i am going to lose my mind. It mainly starts in the evenings. It is almost unbearable.... My tummy and legs are literally covered in scratches where i scratch them so much. I have tried everything and have not gotten any relief.
Had my regular appt friday and dr. noticed all the scratches on my belly! He confirmed with me that i have PUPPS! Benadryl seems to give me some relief!! Yay for an answer..... though this is extremely uncomfortable!!

I would suggest talking to your OB, you may have a condition called 'Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy'. I was diagnosed with it a couple of weeks ago and had similar symptoms - check out website: icpcare.org for more information. The condition doesn't have any really bad or lasting effects for you but can alter how they approach the rest of your pregnancy, and there are drugs that can give you relief from the itching! Good luck.
I get into fits where my stomach is super itchy. I try not to scratch it, but put lotion on it instead. But I agree with the other ladies, maybe talking to your OB would help. They might be able to get you a prescription for something.
The dr. said i have PUPPS. He told me to take benadryl but it wouldnt make it go away will just make it a little more tolerable. I hadnt mentioned it at my appt and when he went to measure my tummy he seen all the scratches ......... I told him it was driving me insane!! The benadryl is helping some.
