I was progressing so nicely yesterday. Contractions were stronger had my bloody show and then it all came to a hault!! Contractions are minimal, bloody show is now down to just very yucky very dark brown CM. I am working from home today in fear that my water would break in the office or something. I still have a lot of pressure down there but things just seem to be stopping now. So strange. I went from thinking I was going to have this LO tomorrow to not knowing what is going on today. I don't feel too bad today either. Can actually move around without too much pain. So frustrating. If I am not going to have him for another week then I would love to know so I can just go about my days as normal. But if I am going to have him any day now then I wish there would be some indications of that again so I don't feel bad for staying home.

You take it easy today!

I cannot believe you are so close to delivering! You are just a week ahead of me and I couldn't fathom starting labor in a week. This pregnancy has went WAYYYY too fast.

I went through a week of this last pregnancy before he arrived. I didn't want to have him early (36 weeks), but I was ready for the anxiety of not knowing to stop. Hang in there! The longer he stays in, the better the chances of a shorter hospital stay!

I agree, take it easy today. You need your rest in case you go into labor later today or sometime this week.

Take it easy and KUP! Sorry that everything slowed, but it could be "the calm before the storm" for lack of better words!

Thank you ladies for all of your well wishes. I am really beginning to lose it. So angry and irritated. I worked from home all day and went to the mall at lunch time to walk for an hour and see if things get going again. Well they did and then stopped after I got back home. Then I kept working until 4:30 and then began to clean my house a little and the contractions came back strong for about 30 minutes and now have stopped. I feel so foolish. I don't know if I should just go in to the office tomorrow then. The issue is, I get intense contractions while active and so if I am up and down from my desk tomorrow then I will have intense contractions. Ahhh so confused.

i agree, just relax for a while. Its always so hard to wait when you know its close, but those few extra days could make a ton of difference for him. Hang in there, he will be here soon!

I'm sure the waiting game sucks..especially if you already know that you are 3 cm..that is no fun. But just try to relax and know that he is definitely doing something and will come shortly....

Wow, I can't believe you are so close to having your baby already. I'm surprised they aren't keeping you on bed rest until at least 37 weeks. I am quite a bit behind you, but the doctor put me on meds now to stop my contractions and I am supposed to be taking it easy. Either way, good luck and I hope you are feeling well. The waiting game can be a killer when you know the end is so close!

The doctor's feel that since I am almost 36 weeks that the baby will be just fine if I deliver now. That is the reason they have not given me anything to stop the contractions. She also feels that putting me on bed rest will not stop the progression though I disagree. Yesterday I worked from home all day and things really slowed down. Today I decided to come in to the office to help get my mind off of this all and I definitely have more contractions then I did yesterday. Just hoping that my water doesn't break while I am here. I have my hospital bag in the car but I may go home for lunch and put some items at my desk just in case.
