With my induction scheduled for the 21st (if I make it... I'm 4cm and fully effaced. Actually gained a cm over night!) I straightened up the nursery and now I'm getting ready to organize the area surrounding the bassinet.
Anyway, with our nursery we decided to not go with a bedding set since they're usually not used and instead I splurged on a few super soft Aden + Anais sheets. My mom and grandmother are making her a quilt which when complete we will display.
We really wanted to maintain a shabby chic look and I think we achieved it. We haven't put up framed photos yet and I'm still looking for an antique hanger to display the smocked dress on.
A print I made for her a few months ago.
I am in LOVE with this lamp. I spotted it at Home Goods and got it for something like $15. The pops of Tiffany blue really tied the nursery together.
