So I got up did a load of laundry and fell back asleep til about 730, I woke up still same constant back pain n a few contractions here n there nothing huge or anything but it starts in my back m comes around to the front....also TMI I have had lots of diahera with the contractions also almost throwing up?? I have laid back down now and my back is still just aching I'm going to go get in the tub here in a min.... I have no idea what labor feels like, does this sound like its a start to it??! Ive always been induced!! if so where baby is transverse when would u all go to the hospital if it keeps it up??!! Thanks guys any input is appreciated!!!

I think labor can start in different ways but I have heard of some peoples labor starting like that... I would definitely keep an eye on it and if it gets any worse than go up to the hospital to be checked..if it's not labor it could be a kidney infection or something that needs to be taken care of. Good luck and KUP.

That does sound a bit like back labor. Start timing those contractions

and if you know baby is transverse, and you've had more than 5 contractions in an hour, call the OB now.

Yes, time them when they start, till they end, and in between. If you have a smart phone, android has a bunch of free apps to time them, you just click when it starts and ends and it tracks it all. Iphone has them too, I think you have to pay a dollar or something. Also, you can look up contraction timer online and do it from your computer if that works for you.

Bloody show is basically the mucous plug with blood in it... so that sound like what you are having! It's definitely a sign of progress! Good luck and KUP!
