Sadly no progress whatsoever. Im not gonna lie I burst out crying and asked to be induced. However they will not induce until you are at least one week overdue. I just felt so frustrated and upset.

Tomorrow I have an ultrasound in the morning anyways.

I know how you feel! I was completely closed at my 39 week appointment, and then a week later I was 1cm, so at least it's *some* progress!

I go back on Monday (if I don't have him between now and then) and we will pick an induction date.

I feel a little better now. Im not sure if it does anything but my boyfriend went out and bought me some Red raspberry leaf tea. Its worth a shot right? lol

Im pretty excited about my ultrasound tomorrow though, first time seeing the baby since about 20 weeks

Sorry hon! I know it can be frustrating when you hear that. If you are open to Red Rasp Leaf Tea and EPO I would try those first to get the cervix thinned out so the baby can drop more into the pelvis and help with dilation.

Try doing the dirty w/ BF! The movement and "fluid" may help soften you up too!

Best of luck and hang in there! You're almost there!

Went in for my ultrasound today and then back to my doctor for the report. Baby is measuring around 11lbs 6oz (yikes) Hopefully this little one isnt that big but on the screen he or she looked pretty squished.

Have to go to a specialist on monday and im hoping they will do something for me then, if I dont go into labour on my own.

I am crossing everything that you will go into labor before then. So, start walking and making sexy time!

I'm also at 39 weeks and ready to be done with this pregnancy. I just have to keep reminding myself that the longer Baby E is on the inside, the longer s/he has to develop properly, and that it's perfectly acceptable to go to 40...or even 42!...weeks.

I understand that, but im 5ft and change, have GD and am the size of a moose lol. I wanted to have a vaginal birth but now im not so sure.

I know ultrasounds can be 1-2 pounds off but REALLY hope that means 9lbs and not 13! lol I can probably handle pushing out a 9lb baby not so sure about a 13lb one. I just hope the specialist will have some more encouraging news for me (and hopefully a smaller measurement) on monday.

Wow. 13 pounds would be a big baby! The ultrasound is probably off by a couple pounds the other way.

I was a bit "overdue" with my second son and he was almost 11 pounds. It was hard getting him out (he had his hand by his head!) but it can be done! So don't be discouraged! You should be able to handle a 9 (or even 10!) pound baby just fine.
