Does your doctor set your date on your due date or week before?

Yup elective is NO earlier than 39 weeks. Usually insurance won't allow earlier if elective. Now if something is wrong of course they will cover it earlier.

Mine is set for March 26th, I'll be 39 weeks 3 days.
I'm hoping to go before then... maybe... I don't know... I'm so up in the air for trying for a VBAC again. So many troubles every time I try to have a baby.
Plus I want my tubes tied.

This OB office doesn't do them until 39 weeks, which is exactly when I am having mine this time. My last OB did them at 38 weeks or more. My last baby was exactly 38 weeks, and he had a little trouble regulating his body temperature (just need some skin-to-skin at first).

Oh, I love spinals! I have never had a single problem with them, and I have heard some women say with epidurals that they were able to feel some stuff. NEVER with a spinal...at least for me.

I've had one of each. The epidural stopped working and had to be refreshed before my emergency section. My scheduled section 2 years later was heaven, I never felt a thing until HOURS after the surgery was over and I had absolutely no problems whatsoever from it.
