Just left the doctors office, and we set the date for Monday the 25 to be induced if she doesn't make her appearance before then. I highly doubt ill go into labor on my own before then. I'm now almost 2 cm dilated.. And she thinks labor will progress quickly once I go in Monday and they break my water/ pitocin. I'm just so ready to be done! Happy to have a date set but wish I'd go into labor on my own before then but I don't see that happening at all. 4 more days to get thru and then our baby will finally be here. I'm SO beyond ready its not even funny.
((hugs)) i had to set an induction date at my 41 week appointment, i was pretty devastated too, but i ended up going into labour that same night and he was born at 830pm, less than 12 hours after booking that induction. I guess he just needed his eviction date. Hopefully your little one comes on their own soon

I'm praying they go by quick and praying even harder than ill go into labor on my own before then! My sister thinks I will, but I highly doubt it, though I have had alot more contractions the last couple days than I have been. Waiting is the hardest part! And I'm more anxious now that I know the exact date than if it would just happen out of the blue! Ah! 4 more days to get through and I get to meet my baby!!!!
Cervical checks are not a prediction of labor you can go from not being dilated at all
To full blown labor or no signs of labor only for labor to begin. Don't give your hopes up yet. I hope you have a wonderful delivery.
