Why you shouldn't take your 8 year old daughter swimsuit shopping with you!

Jessica and I were at Target and I decided to just swing through the swimsuits section. Jessica holds up one that I think is hideous, it has big roses all over it. I tell her, "Jessica, that swimsuit has too many flowers on it, I think it will make me look fat."

So Jessica says ok and continues looking around, Next she holds up a flashy neon green thing and says, "How about this one mom? It's really beautiful!"

"No, Jessica," I tell her. "I want a swimsuit that won't attract a lot of attention to me and that neon green would catch too many eyes"

Jessica wanders off a ways (its a big swimsuit department) and then all the sudden she yells really loudly "MOM!!!! I found the perfect swimsuit for you!!! It's REALLY unattractive!!!!"

Jessica, Jessica, Jessica...LOL! Just remember, Amy...I don't want to be seen with anyone wearing a really unattractive swimsuit. I say go for the neon green...it'll match my green outfit!
