You've probably noticed that I haven't been around as much these last 2 weeks, I've been super swamped but am hoping it's slowing down so I can work more around here.

Our tree and stuff is still up. DH hasn't had time and I haven't been able. So far, 2012 has SUCKED.

How is the beginning of the year treating you??? For the most part, very good.

Battling sick kiddos? not too much. They've each been sick, but rotovirus is going around here and I'm just counting my stars that the girls haven't gotten it

Getting Ready for Tax Season? Yes! Very excited about taxes

All caught up on your post-holiday cleaning? The tree needs to be put into the shed (it is down and in it's box) and I need to move the end tabes back to where the tree was


2012 is going well for me so far but it's been super busy. We found out that we're getting A LOT of money back on our taxes. I've started school (Chemistry) and I'm doing pretty well in it. Chris has been gone for most of the year so far (training and such). My Texas trip got cancelled because of his training. I found super cheap gymnastics and art classes for the girls (they're starting on Feb 1) both kids will be in both classes. Carrie has lost her speech therapy, PT and OT due to scheduling problems with the therapists but we're working on getting her back in. We've found lots of fun local activities for the girls to participate in, so I'm really excited about that.

How is the beginning of the year treating you??? It's been pretty good. Starting to get busy around here again.

Battling sick kiddos? Not yet, but Nebraska is a hot spot for the flu right now so we'll see.

All caught up on your post-holiday cleaning? Almost. Finally got the Christmas decorations down but still working on getting things put away.

Pretty good actually. I have a positive outlook on this year. Lots of plans to better my self, get more organized, and become more self sufficient.

Taxes are already done, suppose to get my refund next Tuesday (1/31). I can't wait because we are going to pay off some bills with that and buy somethings we need that we haven't been able to afford. Plus some things we want.

Going to get rid of our storage unit that we had gotten after my father passed away. Was suppose to get rid of it in the Spring of 2010 but it never happened. Wanted to try last year, that didn't happen. This year we are determined because that's an extra $64 a month.
