What do you need to get done this next week??

I need to:

Get our basement cleaned
Make valentines for Kenda's preschool valentines party
Make a roaster of soup and cornbread muffins for the fire department's soup supper fundraiser
Get chapter 6 read in the book we are reading for our book study

Other things I want to work on:

Continue my project of sorting through our filing cabinets
Get some pages done for the crop on the Paper Scrapbooking Board
Get my recipes done for the 52 weeks of cooking challenge on the Cooking, Entertaining and Party Planning board

I need to clean and organize my daughters room thoroughly. Then, I need to get everything ready for my daughter's birthday party. I have to make lots of dog bone shaped sugar cookies. I also promised my daughter I would make heart shaped sugar cookies with her this weekend. I have to get the house in tip top shape since the party is at our house. We have to get my daughters birthday pictures done. I REALLY need to work on scrapbooking. It's not my thing so I've been putting it off.

I'm guessing that your daughter is having a doggie themed birthday?? That sounds like such a fun theme! I have been trying to start thinking of a theme for my son's 2nd birthday and so far all I have come up with is cars. Seems to be about all he is interested in right now. His birthday isn't until June, so I still have a while.

Do you do paper scrapbooking or digital?? If you do paper, come on over and join us on the paper scrapbooking board! (Paper Scrapbooking - JustMommies Message Boards) I'm one of the co-hosts there and we would love to have you!! We've always got something going on to help keep us going.

Thank you!! Yeah, she's having a doggie themed party. I'm going to try to make giant pawprints out of card stock to hang in the house. That's cute your son likes cars. Kayley loves cars (she picked cars valentines to hand out in preschool, ha).

I do paper scrapbooking still. I look at it like it's a chore. I know that's sad to say. We went to Disney last May and I haven't even begun doing the book. Thanks, for inviting me to check things out over on paper scrapbooking! I'm not very creative so anything will help.

If it makes you feel better, I am still working on my wedding album and my wedding was 8 years ago! LOL! Once I had Kendra, it was hard to find the space in our old house to scrap without her getting into it...not to mention the time. Also my attention kind of switched to working on her album....which I am currently still working on her birth to 1 year album and that was 5 years ago. I really like this site for getting pages done quickly. You don't have to crop your pictures as all she uses are 4x6 (you might have to cut a couple if you cross the crack on double layouts though). 4 X 6 Photo Sketch Blog

I'll need to work on some cleaning. I go back to work this week too so I suspect it'll be a tired kinda week. Tuesday we have a funeral. Also, we have another family member that's expected to pass away any time so we may have a funeral for him as well. He was given a few weeks a week or so ago.

Thanks, sweetie. At yesterday's funeral (for DH's grandpa) all I could think was soon we'll be doing this for Uncle Al. Yesterday's service was done with full military honors and Uncle Al's will have military honors as well.
