Do you use JM's home organization plan each month? I used to be a member of a group (no longer active) that was centered around the JM cleaning calendar that is apart of the plan. I haven't used it since we moved last Spring but I plan on starting again like...now. Lol.

By the way, I am not sure if I have posted here before but I'm Meagan, married to Dusty and mama to Addi who will be 4 in eight days. I am a SAHM and my Dh is in the Army, we are currently preparing to TDY to Goodfellow next month and then PCS to Hawaii in August.

By the way here is the link for the home organization plan, I can't seem to find it by just looking around the webpage but the link is updated with this year's calendars.

Welcome to the board Meagan!! It's great to have you here!! I'm Kelsey - wife to Jason and Mommy to Kendra (5 years) and Josh (21 months).

I do not use it, but it is what I based the cleaning schedule that I created for myself off of. My cleaning schedule a little different. Instead of individual chores, I divided my house up into 7 sections (ex: Saturday is bedrooms) and then have a list of the basic things that need done in each section each week. The monthly decluttering is pretty similar to what is on JM's cleaning calendar except I took those 7 sections and divided them up into 3 larger sections so that each section gets the decluttering 4 times a year.

Thanks for linking to the cleaning calendar! I had completely forgot it was there.

I tend to do something like you where I break my house into 7 sections and deep clean one section a day, but I also add in the one chore from the cleaning calendar that day because I have found (that with me at least) if I don't then certain things do not get done (like cleaning out my car lol).

Thanks for the welcome

Adding the 1 chore from the cleaning chart would be a good idea! I also don't seem to get to those things like cleaning the car. So maybe if I added that to my cleaning schedule it might get done. Thanks for the idea!
