Do you have a particular chore (or two or three)that is either a challenge for you to get done or a challenge to stay on top of? Do you always think that you are going to start doing it more often or differently so you can can better manage it?

If so, what is it? What's your plan and how's it working out?

Dusting... I hate dusting. I have it written down as a weekly chore in my cleaning book, but I think I might change it to a bi-weekly chore. If I can see the difference in what I am dusting I am more likely to do it. As it is now, I feel like I am cleaning something that is already clean.

I hate to mop and sweep my floors. As soon as I get it done, the kids/hubby spill something. I would rather clean toilets than mop the kitchen/laundry room floors

I get lost in laundry. There are 4 of us in the house and because of day to day life during the week it's hard to keep up with it. I have developed a bad habit of laying the laundry on the pool table instead of folding it after its washed and dried. Some weeks I just keep adding to the pile and put a towel over it so the cats don't lay on it and then everyone ends up having to search through the pile to find something to wear. I hate doing this, but I just don't seem to have the time to keep up with it.

This has been going on for a long time and I always plan to get better with it, but just haven't. So this week I decided I will do 1 maybe 2 loads of laundry a night and fold it and put away immediately instead of doing 3-4 loads every 2 or 3 days and piling cause I want to go to bed. So far so good...I made it a week. it's much easier to keep up with and everything is clean...I don't have to spend the weekend catching up on it . I'm just hoping I can stick with it.

The floors... we don't have a vacuum for the carpet and we live on 20 acres so we have dirt tracted in everywhere and two kids tossing food on the floor.

What the heck am I saying... my son and DH do the floors.
