Do your kids get an allowance? No
What kinds of chores do they do to get an allowance? Tyler 15 cleans the kitchen after dinner, takes out the trash, mows the yard and a bunch of other outside work as well as keeping the kids bathroom clean. Scarlett 3 folds laundry with me, puts her Beau and Tessa clothing away, she also picks up toys and sweeps the floor.
How much do they get for an allowance? Nada Zip zilch zero
Any neat ideas, tips or tricks you can share that have to do with children getting an allowance? Tyler can do extra work (car washing, window washing, trash hauling) to earn money for school events.

Do your kids get an allowance? Not yet, but it's something I am thinking about starting with Kendra.
What kinds of chores do they do to get an allowance? So far, things I have thought of for her to do for an allowance are: Empty the dishwasher, pick up the toys in the living room, pick up the toys in the toy room/den area, and help pick up the yard.
How much do they get for an allowance? Not sure yet.
Any neat ideas, tips or tricks you can share that have to do with children getting an allowance?

Do your kids get an allowance? Not yet, he's 4...but I can see doing it in the next couple years.
What kinds of chores do they do to get an allowance? J doesn't get an allowance, but he clears the table, puts dishes in the dishwasher, cleans up his messes, etc.
How much do they get for an allowance? n/a
Any neat ideas, tips or tricks you can share that have to do with children getting an allowance? I think it's a great idea to teach money skills and responsibility. As a teacher, I feel like many parents (myself included!!) rarely use cash and kids don't see it being used/exchanged (10 dimes = a dollar, etc). So, I would pay in different amounts of money...if they get $3 a week...sometimes give them dollars, sometimes change..and then make them exchange you for bigger amounts.
