When do you plan on telling family and friends?

I don't think we'll tell immediate family until after I miss my period, which is not for another week! It's hard, though, because my mom and I are very close. We won't tell friends and other family members until I'm out of the first trimester, and the same goes with the kids and my boss and coworkers. One of my coworkers is a good friend, however, and I told her before dh!

If I get my big + in 4 days due to tow MC I will not be telling anyone even family until I am past 10 weeks I always MC before 9 weeks.

If I get my BFP when I test, I will try to keep it under wraps for the first trimester. This is because the first time I had a BFP I told practically everyone that mattered in my life and ended up miscarrying. I'm awful at keeping secrets so we will see if I will be able to.

I've already told my two best friends. Will probably wait till 8 weeks or so to tell our families, 10-12 weeks for friends/work.

I told my horseback riding instructor immediately because this was going to impact/delay our long term plans. DH told his best friend immediatly because he had to tell someone. And I told a close friend because it was part of my storyline when discussing my horse riding plans with her.

I think it is on kind of a "Need To Know" basis right now. In late August we'll make happy announcements after we hear a heartbeat.

I'm keeping it from my work as long as possible. I just know the actions taken at work are not going to go in my favor.

Right now my cousin knows (she technically knew before me even!), but I'm waiting on telling everyone else, I'm not sure until when, but after 3 losses I hate having the "I lost it" disscussion.

I told my family and my '08 PR but that's it for now, I'll probably tell close friends in a week or 2. Honestly I'd announce it on Facebook today if husband didn't ask me not to lol.

I've told some people. Once I get my beta level today (hopefully) i'll feel a lot more comfortable with telling people. I won't be officially announcing until 2nd trimester.

i tell ppl who need to know. my family doesnt know, but like.. my friend who will come help clean the house know why i cant help her.. stuf like that. not until we know how many

I've told immediate family already. I'm horrible at keeping things from them. We will probably tell most everybody else after the first ultrasound at 6 weeks.

I've told my best friend and I told my sister - but I only told my sister because she's borrowing a bunch of my baby stuff for her little one due in a month and I'll need stuff like the car seat back probably before she's done with it

We'll probably tell immediate family around 10 weeks or so and then everyone else after the first trimester.

I told one best friend, and DH told one friend because he was so excited. We are telling two more close friends tonight, and my mom on her birthday which is coming up. Other than that, no one until first trimester is over. There are some things coming up at work and I don't want anyone knowing until the round of interviews is over! I will be lurking forums because I am SOOOOO excited and want to tell the world!

Family and my best friends as soon as I take a blood test and miss my period for sure.

Coworkers around the 12 week mark. Bosses possibly sooner in case I have to miss a lot of work. Last time it was around 10 weeks when I told.

Told MIL and FIL today at 5 weeks, will tell other family members probably around 8 weeks. Work will know at 13 weeks.

Right now just me and Dh know and we will probablly not tell anyone untill about8-10 wks. Even then it will just be immediate family. Everyone else will find out after the first trimester.
