Have any of you started reading pregnancy books? If so which ones? Every pregnancy I have "What to Expect when You're Expecting" and "Pregnancy Week by Week" by my bed so I can read what's going on.

I won't be reading anything this time, but my favorite books in the past were:

"Homebirth" by Shiela Kitzinger
"Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way" by Susan McCutcheon-Rosegg
"The Nursing Mother's Companion" by Kathleen Huggins
"The Womanly Art of Bfing" by La Leche League

I have that same book and love it. I still double over in laughter after reading it once.....er.....maybe twice since my DS was born. Definitely recommend it.

The girlfriend's guide to pregnancy & what to expect are sitting on my nightstand right now! They're absolutely amazing. The girlfriend's guide to pregnancy is like a really close friend telling you all the details of pregnancy, and it's funny! What to expect is much more informative. So, I'd get bothh ! (:

Awww, I remember "What to expect when you're expecting"!!! I wanna get that book now! I wonder if I still have a copy upstairs in my box of baby stuff!I'll have to check, and if not, I'll have to order it ASAP.

Ya know, everyone told me that as soon as I got rid of my baby stuff, I'd get pregnant again, but that didn't happen. I got rid of most of it ages ago. I just realized - I don't have ANY baby stuff!!! EEEEK!!! That's a bit scary! I mean NADDA! Nothing! ZERO! ZILCH! ZIP! Ugh, I've got a long road ahead of me!

Girlfriends guide to pregnancy is good, so is "Belly Laughs" by Jenny McCarthy. I have pregnancy for dummies, what to expect, week by week and pregnancy sucks from when I was pregnant with my DS. I will probably read week by week this time, but that's it.

Ok, I've heard really good stuff about the girlfriends book, so I'm definately going to have to check it out. I can't wait!!

Is anyone else just over the moon excited like I seem to be today? lol I swear, I just feel like I'm floating on cloud 9. Maybe it's just because I've finally got a reason to be excited for a little bit, instead of so much scary sad stuff all the time. Maybe it's hormones. Insanity? Lol I dunno, it's SOMETHING though.

I'm reading "The Mayo Clinic's Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy," which is pretty dry but informative. I read Jenny McCarthy's "BellyLaughs" this weekend in 2 1/2 hours and loved it. It was funny, touching, and informative. I highly recommend it!
