Is anyone using a mid wife instead of an OBGYN?

Possibly. I used a home birth midwife last time and a CNM with my first.

Me!

This is baby #4 and all have been with midwives. First in hospital (to please hubby and family). Then 2 at home (delivered so fast for both that actually my midwife didn't make it for either and DH had to catch them haha).

Planning another home birth.

Already have my first appointment booked for 9 weeks.

I use a midwife, but they are in practice with OB's as well, and will deliver in a hospital.

Fingers crossed the midwife practice will take me--had a horrible experience in the hospital with #1. Had an epidural and C section that was likely uneccessary forced on me

Ugh! I wish! Midwives aren't legal in this backwoods province
