I am not sure what the "rule" is but to be safe I'm being very careful with anything I lift...

I'm not sure in a normal circumstance. But my dr told me thing over 25 lbs or if I feel in in my stomach area. But I'm "special". LOL.

I think as long as it's in moderation, its ok.

My midwives have never given me restrictions. They always said I was still allowed to rock climb, and I was still carrying my 35 lb toddler around during my last pregnancy (even wearing her for hours at a time).

If you are healthy shouldn't be any specific restrictions. Use common sense though, don't go moving a 100lb couch lol. I still lift my 40lb+ 3 year old if I need to. I think if it's something you are used to lifting and were doing so regularly prior to pregnancy then you should be fine. But don't push yourself, it's a lot easier to pull something when pregnant.
