Hi ladies my name is Nikki I am 4 weeks pregnant and my due date is April 24th. I am feeling my pants are fitting a little tight kind of cut into my waist. I weighed this morning and I have gained 3 pounds. Is that a bit much for being 4 weeks pregnant?? I say ugh. I think its a bit much!
I gained a lot of weight with my last pregnancy...by 10 weeks I had gained 15 lbs. I wasn't thrilled about it, but it didn't worry my doctor, and everything turned out just fine. It's possible that the extra pounds at this point are due to bloating.

I'm just over 4 weeks and extremely bloated also, my mom said she was like this when she had me and she didn't really gain much more weight until after five or six month mark, its quite remarkable to look about four months gone when ur only four weeks lol, I'm eating plenty of fruit instead of snacking on anything else so I'm hoping this helps!
I have gained about 4-5 pounds at 6 weeks. I did weigh myself one evening, though, and it was 4-5 pounds heavier than even that. By the next morning, my weight was back "down" to just the original 4-5 pounds of gain. I do notice that my pants are more uncomfortable by the end of the day.

The day I got my BFP, the shorts I wear all the time did not close that morning. That whole weeks which I was 4 weeks, the bloating was really bad my clothes were tight. In the last three weeks the bloating has gone down and my clothes are back to fitting like normal. So, it is probably water retention or bloating, just part of your body adjusting. Drink lots of water, it will help
