My ultrasound is scheduled for Monday Aug 27th. One more week until we find out if this little one is going to stick or not. I think all of the waiting is finally catching up to me. I have been super positive with this pregnancy, but as the time gets closer the doubts start creeping up in the back of my mind.
My boobies are still hurting, I'm tired and I have cramping off and on. But the nauseousness is very mild and only really strikes when I'm hungry or eat too much. As long as I eat small stuff, I'm totally fine. Which of course makes me worry that my hormones aren't as high as they should be. I don't know, maybe I have just had too much time to think. Yesterday I was so emotional, every thing was making me mad or cry. I just want this week to be over.
I have my annual pap here in a couple of hours. It was scheduled before my BFP and I didn't want to cancel it because it's with my midwife and she is impossible to get into unless you're pregnant. Hopefully she can offer me some reassurance of some sort.
My annual pap went great. Everything inside looked good and she brought in an older machine so we could try to see something today. It wasn't an external machine and I'm only 5w3d so of course all we could see was the sac, but it looked just right for where I'm at! I was so happy to see her and she made me feel 100 times better.
She did prep me and say that Monday might still be early to see much, even going by ovulation the egg doesn't fertilize THAT day so I may only be 6 weeks and might not see a heartbeat yet. I hope that we do, but if we don't I guess I won't lose complete hope yet. I just think I might go insane if I have to wait another week!!
Anyhow, I feel better for now. Hopefully I can stay positive and make it to Monday! Thanks ladies for all the support! I promise not to be whiny after I make it past this stage!!!
That is awesome that your midwife pulled in the u/s machine and you got to see the sac. I have my first appt tomorrow and I am wondering if I will get an u/s. I am excited for your appointment next week!
