The ultrasound was the only picture I had. The general idea would be any picture posted. It doesn't have to be as big as the one I did, but some place where it would be a nuisance to try and remove before using it again.

I think it's unnecessary unless you have something particularly personal that you don't want stolen. That being said, I could remove that watermark easily if I wanted to.
Honestly, to be perfectly blunt, if you are concerned about pictures being stolen, don't post them on the internet.
I share pictures, but what do I care if someone says they are me- they aren't and I never put anything self-identifying up like my name, the front of my house/identifiable neighborhood, things with my employer's logo on it to protect my identity. It's not like I WANT someone to claim my son is theirs, but what are they realistically going to do with a picture that is going to hurt anything but my feelings? Maybe I'm making it too simple, but I don't get putting in all that extra effort.
I'm with MaineBean, pictures can be taken from anywhere, any site you use, even FB. If you don't want it used don't post it kind of thing. I'd be ticked if someone used my picture but it's a risk I take when posting them on the world wide web.
A while back I was searching good for tubal reversal something, and was going through the images, I seen 2 ultrasound pics and I thought "that head looks familiar and so does that gender shot". Took me a minute to realize it was my u/s pics from ds last year I posted in my Oct DCC. That was weird.
