My nephews name is Jadyn. I see him every holiday. My favorite boy name is Caden and i really want to name the baby that if its a boy and call him Cade when he is around my nephew for a nick name... What would you do? Ive having a hard time with boy names because i want him to have the same initials as my youngest son Carter (Carter Jordan and Caden James)

Absolutely! Just because they rhyme doesn't mean they are the same name!

Just me, but I would avoid same initials. When you have bank statements (or other letters!) delivered to C.J. and C.J. then it could be confusing...

I voted no, but maybe that's more because I really hate all the -ayden names with a passion.

Besides that, it isn't such a big deal as they are two different names. But ugh, more -ayden, blech. (That is my $0.02 that you can feel free to ignore!)

My older son's name is Hayden and it was a name we both loved from the time me and DH met in 2000. Of course when the time came and I was having a boy the ayden names took a boom and I was completely frustrated and upset by it but I stuck to naming him that just because we loved it so much. But I passionatly hate how much it is used now a days with almost every letter of the alphabet. People are even using Z's now..lol

I would say name your child what ever you want to. On a side note and justbmynown two cents I should prob keep to mysel; I strongly dislike the trend to have all your children have the same initials! I am all for individuality!

I would definitely use that name. You want your child to have a name that you love so go for it!
