Well, I'm only 8 weeks in and I broke down to buy some maternity jeans. My jeans were fitting, but I was using a hair tie instead of buttoning them, which was causing them to fall off my butt. LOL. So I made a trip to Motherhood and got a pair of jeans and a pair of capris. They fit better and are much more comfortable, I just hate how maternity jeans make your butt look funny...square almost. I dunno, maybe that's just me. The girl was trying to get me to buy these tight shirts to "show off my bump". Um....not yet, not everyone even knows yet so I'm def not trying to flaunt it right now. lol

These little monkeys better be snuggled for the long haul now!!

How exciting and I agree motherhood jeans made my butt look weird too. The ones I got are a different brand and the only issue I have with them is 2 of them the back pockets seem far apart so it makes my butt look wider.... great. But the third pair look just like regular jeans, so that's good. Maybe check into the belly sleeve at motherhood, great for the in between stages and awesome after delivery too, made me feel more secure in clothing right after birth.

I was actually looking at that, they have those and leggings and undies and stuff buy one get on 50% off. I might have to make another trip LOL. I wore tight tank tops my entire pregnancy with my DS because I felt like it "held my stomach" a bit. I'm sure I will need it more this time.

Haha...yay for maternity pants! They're so comfy!

I loved those tanks from Motherhood that were tight. I wore one pretty much my whole pregnancy last time, and even after giving birth.

I'm going to need to buy myself some maternity pants soon as well. My jeans are getting a bit too tight but I've been so scared to buy anything yet. Hoping I can hold off until I hit the 12 week mark but it's doubtful!

I didn't want to buy anything this soon either, but it was that or be super uncomfortable every time I left the house.

I pulled out some old ones I had from my last 2 pregnancies and as comfortable as they are they are not by any means attractive on me. I feel like the crotch hangs really low and they make my but look HUGE!

I don't understand why it's so hard to make flattering maternity jeans. I'm sure they exist...for a price!

Right! Even the not so flattering ones still cost $40 to $60!

I just got 2 pairs of maternity pants from Target for $10 each on clearance! I was thrilled ... one is a pair of jeans that actually look nice on me and the other pair is a soft material (not sure the name) and they are ankle pants to wear with flats to work ... super cute ... now I just need a bump!

I also bought a belly band for right now ... my bump is more of a bloat right now but it's still uncomfortable buttoning pants right now.

I finally broke out the maternity pants too. I have some from motherhood that look pretty decent. I got the ones that are denim through the elastic. I love them!

I've heard Old Navy has cute maternity jeans, reasonably priced. I broke down and bought some clearance maternity & nursing tops at Target recently...they were cheap and too cute to pass up.

Our Old Navy here doesn't carry maternity in the store. Later on I will prob go check out Kohls and Target, but I don't want to buy too much yet.

I am thinking that it is time for me to dig through the closet and see what maternity clothes will fit me this time. I have been wearing my biggest shirts and workout shorts, but my shirts are magically starting to get too short. I am trying to keep quiet about my pregnancy for a couple more weeks but I would rather be in maternity clothes than flashing my stomach because my shirts are suddenly too short.

I do lover maternity clothes so I won't complain if I need to do a little shopping.

This is my main problem with maternity pants. Shirts are great on me, but the pants make my butt look huge and droopy because I have a really flat butt. And last time, I felt like I had to keep hiking them up because I needed them for the stomach, but I didn't have anything in back to hold them in place.
