4 lb in 2 weeks sounds good to me. You are suppose to gain weight and I think if your Dr. Becomes concerned with how much, they will tell you. But I don't think that will be until wa later.

I know in another post you had said you just lost a lot too which is probably why you feel like 4 is too much, but remember you are going to keep gaining, that's what we have to do to grow those babies. If you feel like you are not eating right start making some better choices there but don't deprive yourself of something you really want. Thoses hormoneswill go crazy.

Here is a quick link I found. It says to expect between 1-5 lbs during the first trimester. You're almost 12 weeks so I would say you are right on track.

I gained 1lb yesterday just by eating at the fiesta and all the walking did nothing (or maybe it did!). LOL. Don't worry about it right now, the dr will let you know if he is concerned about weight gain. I'm sure you're fine!

I've gained 2.5pounds. My mom told me she only gained about 7 pounds up to week 26 and then she gained another 35 in the last 10weeks. I am hoping for a more steady weight gain.
