I've had a metallic taste in my mouth for the past 5 days and it seems to be getting worse. I called my doctors office this morning but he is gone until next week. The doctor on calls nurse told me that it is a normal part of pregnancy and just deal with it. I was very upset the she just brushed it off be it normal or not, that's not how you speak to a patient. This is new for me, I've never had a metallic taste with any of my pregnancies. I feel like there is something more to it but don't want to worry. Have any of you ever had a metallic taste in your mouth? I've been brushing like crazy trying to get it to go away.

I have a metallic/blood like taste in my mouth and brushing actually makes it worse since my gums bleed pretty easy these days so obviously I just taste blood even more. LOL. I would probably try gum or mints or something instead?

I have had a metallic taste now for 2 weeks. I assumed it had to do with all the medicines I am taking. I haven't put too much thought into it. I think is normal but obviously as you can see I am not 100% sure.
