I have acid reflux with every single meal. I eat tums but sometimes they make my tummy turn. If you have it what do you take for relief?

Zantac before meals and tums if I end up with it.

I have heard Zantac works good

I take Prilosec daily to prevent it from happening at all and so far, so good, no issues really since I've started taking it.

Also, I've heard Gaviscon works better than Tums you could always try that if you don't want a daily med like Prilosec and Zantac

I have had extremely good luck with Zantac this pregnancy. 75mg sometimes doesn't help completely but 150mg will just about solve any acid reflux no matter how yucky. I get mine mostly when I head to bed.

Ask your OB for a Prilosec prescription! So much cheaper than buying it OTC

I take Zantac 150 morning and night and I don't have heartburn unless I forget to take it.

Zantac really helps! Tums don't seem to help me at all, but sometimes I take them anyway (not sure why)
