Well, the dr called this morning to let me know that my labs came back from my blood tests last Friday.
I passed my GD test, YAY! But they found out that I am anemic
So the dr. called in some Iron supplements that I just went and picked up from the pharmacy. UGH. This would explain why I have felt so run down lately (worse than regular pregnancy fatigue). Looks like I will be uncomfortably constipated for the rest of my pregnancy but at least baby girl won't be at risk for low birth wait or preterm delivery.

Take probiotics or stool softeners. That is what I am having to do because of the iron supplements.

Bummer! Hopefully the iron supplements will help you feel better, though (aside from the constipation).

And to the stool softeners!

If you don't like stool softeners .. def. try taking the probiotics, they will help with the constipation. I have been taking probiotics for years due to my IBS and they really help keep you regular and "normal" ...

Does your prenatal have iron? I know mine do not which worries me about being anemic but my blood work so far has been great.
