That sounds so nice! My kids went outside and played today too. I stayed inside though, too muddy out there for me ; )

It's actually supposed to get up to 65 today! Rain again tomorrow, though.

It's fairly warm here this week - in the 40's. But that's pretty good for us at the beginning of March.
Not much going on other than work this week. I did get a few things checked off my list this weekend. And my oldest finishes up drivers' ed this week so now we just need to get the rest of her driving hours in so she can test!!

I wasn't nearly as productive over the weekend as I would have liked to be. I did get a few things done, but not a lot. DH keeps telling me to just let him do things and to take it easy...

Same here! Got seeds started for my garden, but still have another couple trays to do. Finished sewing some baby towels and washcloths. Need to work on more diapers.
I have to start a list of things we need grocery and baby wise to get done. Still have to get out the bassinet and wash it. And I think I should start on washing some of the baby clothes and blankets... start putting some things in the hospital bag.
I am debating taking off time before the baby. I wasn't going to but man, working 50hrs plus carting around two kids is hard work. I might just take up my dr if they offer it. My work is going to have a small shower for my next wednesday! I have to say I'm pretty excited. I didn't want one so this will be a nice little treat before the baby is here. Any reason to have cake right!
March is going to fly by!

So DH finally contacted his HR office about taking time off when the baby comes. They told him he didn't need to bother with FMLA if he's just taking 3-4 days off, and that he can use his flex vacation days for that--just to call in and say that his wife is in labor, and he'll be back to work on x day. So that's good. I'm getting my FMLA paperwork filled out this week at my doctor's appointment.

^ Getting official. Mine's all set, but that's primarily because I'm the HR person, and I don't want to risk having to have my replacement do it. She's a nervous sort. I do still need to type of my letter approving it, though, so I can have the administrator sign it.
Not a very productive day at work for me, but productive for getting some of the stuff ordered for my sister's baby shower. I love Etsy!!!

No drama is nice! I'm short a pharmacist this week, and it's one of my morning pharmacists, which means extra work for me in the mornings. It's do-able for sure, but I'll be glad when she's back!

They started a pool at work yesterday to see when baby will come. They're guessing date, time, and weight. So, all the employees and residents have been stopping by asking all kinds of questions about when I'm due, when my girls were born, how big they were, etc,. It is actually making me more excited, and it's a nice distraction throughout the day.

I love that they are all into the office pool trying to get some background info ; )
I'm trying desperately to get caught up on laundry around here today. The kids both have well visits this afternoon. Exciting day today ; )

I have been crocheting baby hats lately and I was stuck on this one part of the pattern that was making the hats not quite "perfect" in my eyes. This morning I got the great idea to watch youtube videos and I think I figured out how to fix my pattern. I am really really excited about this. I have been thinking about it for a couple weeks!

I've stayed home for two days now because of Monster feeling bad...but I've also felt like crap. I had a hysterical crying fit last night, and when my boyfriend asked me what was wrong, my answer was basically *whine* I'm tiiiiiiiiiiired.
I hadn't gotten more than a few hours sleep per night in a week, I haven't kicked what I got sick with that Lily caught from me. I'm 34.5 weeks pregnant, and I have touch issues so staying home all day and cuddling a sick baby (while something I will willingly do) means that by the end of the day my skin is crawling and I'm ready to scream and just can't handle any more physical contact.
...So, yeah, crying fit.
Anyways, result of that was that he stayed home today too and watched Lily while I slept. Result? I was up briefly for like an hour around 7:15...and then I fell back asleep and woke up at 1:30. I woke up once or twice with some massive contractions that had me doing the best 'ball' position I could, but other than that..
I feel halfway human again! Thank God!!

Glad you got some rest! Taking care of a sick kiddo, especially while also sick and tired, is trying. Glad he was able to stay home today!

Okay, anyone else feeling like they've got a bowling ball between their legs suddenly? I mean... I've had severe pelvic pain since early on, but this morning its...different. I was hobbling along like I usually do when I realized that hey...this doesn't really hurt. Then I was like "Bowling ball! If I spread my legs too far when I walk, this kid is gonna fall out of me!!"

Maybe she has dropped?? I don't really know. My girls never dropped, but that sounds like what I always hear other people talk about.

Thats what I'm scared of -.- They say with second babies, they generally don't drop until shortly before labor...and George is staying put until April, dagblastit!
If I gotta sew my ladybits closed to keep her in, I WILL!
