It has been a very busy weekend. I washed all of the baby stuff and am almost finished organizing everything (though I can't completely finish until DH cleans out the nursery closet on tuesday). I still have to pack the diaper bags and put the carseat in but other than that I am ready (prep wise but not mentally). I have even finished all but 6 of my thank you cards (I have to go pick up more cards).

Fast forward to today--I am pretty sure I lost my mucus plug. I know they say you can lose that really early, but I don't want to go into labor for at least 2 more weeks. However, I am 35 w +2d and my mom had my older sister 4 wks early and my sister had her daugher 5 weeks early. It seems to run in my family.

For BTDT moms, how long after you lost your plug before you went into labor?

Anyone else have any weekend updates?

I also forgot to mention that my breasts started leaking yesterday.

Sorry I typed in the wrong area. I'm a little delirious. But she is here, healthy, and learning to nurse.

I never lost mine last time, so I don't know. This time I've lost pieces here and there, but not the whole thing.

Sounds like you've been productive. Always a good feeling to get things done!

With DS, I lost my plug (like a big gross plop into the toilet, gross, sorry) exactly 8 days before DS was born. Hope your baby stays put a little longer. But yay for being so prepared!!

I bet it feels nice to be so organized. With my last pregnancy I lost my mucus plug the morning that I went into labor. Or maybe it was the day before, I can't remember exactly but it was soon after that that I started having regular contractions.

I lost my mucus plug about 2 weeks before I had my c-section. It doesn't always mean that you'll be going into labor.

I lost mine over a couple days after my first exam. I think the dr dislodged it. I think it was only a couple days later.
