As I've complained before, I have not done much to prepare for my new baby girl. I got really stressed about a week ago, pretty much near tears because I just felt overwhelmed with everything to be done and bought for baby and am trying to squeeze it all in budget since baby showers are fantasies for preggos after they pop the 2nd kid out. Well after crying and venting about it all to my parents and kids, everyone has pitched in helping out!
So far I have found an amazing crib (no idea what happened to mine ) for $60, I've reconditioned a free dresser that I've turned into a changing table, a carseat for $20, a glider for $40 that I covered and painted to match my theme, and bought all material for baby's bedding that my mother is so graciously sewing for me so I don't have to do it by hand. My oldest girls and my mother have been helping me clear out my son's room and painted it so we can split up the room between him and baby girl (he never sleeps in there, just plays video games, but volunteered half his space for her!), and they are almost done helping me sort the playroom and getting through a years worth of piled up laundry! Lol! And my dad has helped me convert my son's closet to a hall closet! Thank goodness because I NEED storage badly!! He also plans to help add shelving to my laundry room and the kid's bathroom.

I can't wait to get it all put together and get some pics to show y'all! Decorating and designing are my favorite thing to do only thing that sucks is I'm due back at work this Tuesday.. Boooo so I need to make this happen by Monday!

Awww.. I'm so glad that things are starting to pan out for you and your new sweet pea's room. That has to be a weight lifted .. But extra boo for having to go back to work.
