I'm excited. I like longer days and more daylight.

I wish I could say the same. For me, it means that my son will start waking up at noon instead of 11. (I should probably hang my head in shame here.) Hopefully I'll get my act together when he's in first grade next year.

lol! honestly if I didn't have kids on my doorstep every morning shortly after 8am I'd probably have my kid on a later schedule. I'm NOT a morning person and would love to be able to sleep till at least 9 daily.

I do like my free time in the morning. That's why I'm not more motivated to get him on an earlier schedule yet. But a change is gonna come!

Am I the only person not looking forward to this! All I can think of is that I'm going to loose an hour of sleep. I need my sleep people!!!! I'm going to have to fight my son to get up in the morning and I'm going to want to go to sleep as soon as I get home for work at night. Well, fortunately I only have two more days of work and then I won't have to get up and dressed anymore, lol!

It is an adjustment for us too. My sons school bus comes at 7:56 AM and it is hard enough to get him up dressed and ready. I'm scared how my mornings are going to go with another one in the mix!

I don't like it. I like the "extra" hour of daylight, but my older girls' bus comes at 6:30 int the morning so they'll be back to waiting for it in the dark. I, personally, think this whole daylight savings time is a waste, and we should abolish it. Just leave the clocks alone!!

I wish we can do away with it also! I don't understand why we still bother. Out of the 2 changes, this is the one I prefer. But I'd be much happier if there weren't any period.

I absolutely loved not having daylight savings time when I lived in AZ. I never quite understood why that state doesn't recognize it, but it was an adjustment when I moved to a state that does.

I also wish they would just leave the clocks alone. But for me I hate the fall change, don't get me wrong I love that extra hour of sleep in the fall but I hate losing that hour in the evenings. My family does horses, and with DD getting out of school at 3:45 even if I have everything done and we can leave and go straight to the house afterwards we are looking at at least 4:00-4:05 before we get to the house. So by the time we can get there we have no time for anything before dark, well we would have just about enough time to get a horse caught, groomed and saddled just to have 30 secs to ride and then have to unsaddle and feed so we can get inside before it is too dark(we don't like being at the barn after dark because we gets lots of wild hogs and javalina down by the barn after dark). So I would love for them to make that spring change and then just leave it alone. I would much rather but up in the dark in the mornings driving to the school, work or wherever in the dark than lose my extra hour in the evening/
