I'm somewhere between excited and scared. I don't know why I'm excited or scared. Its kinda cool to see all this crap. I just can't believe we're doing this. We went from getting cloth wipes and possibly trying to CD at some point to...well...cloth wipes and diapers before the kid even gets here.

Some Flats, a couple Thirsties Duos. Got a few diaper rite one-size-for-alls and a bummis cover. What I read said to try a couple different kinds of covers before you invested a lot of money so you could figure out which ones worked for you.

Yay! I loved cding DD and Im excited to d it from the start this time too. I think its best to try different kinds too, you'll quickly find out which ones you like best. And they hold their value pretty well so you can always sell the ones you don't like.

Welcome to the dark side! *insert evil laugh* lol But seriously beware it's fun and addicting! If you run into any confusion or issues ask here, I think there is enough fluff mamas to help you out

p.s. aren't they the cutest! haha

I actually think they're kind of weird looking...lol. I also wanna find a newborn sized doll to practice on because I look at the flats and think O.o how in the hell do I get that to fold up and wrap around a baby?

We got a recipe from a friend for a detergent to use - 32 oz Castile soap, 32 oz super washing soda, 32 oz baking soda...all mixed together. 1 tbsp per diaper load, 2 tbsp per everything else load. Looks like about 40 bucks to make but should last us 4 months or so. So will definitely be getting our money's worth.

On those all-in-one diapers..do i use an insert? Can someone direct me to their favorite CD sites?

Yay!! You'll quickly pick it up and yes if you have questions just ask. I've cloth diapered two now. I used pockets though this time I have quite a few prefolds and covers, some fitteds too. I'm sure I'll be looking at a learning curve as well

I like castile soap, water and a drop or two of tea tree oil for a wipe solution but I do hear plenty use water. I havent ventured to making my own laundry soap but I hear it is cheap, easy and WORKS!

I like Cloth Diapers | Best Cloth Diapers by bumGenius, Fuzzi bunz, Thirsties and GroVia Green Mountain Diapers: Cloth diapers and diaper covers for baby I also use Amazon a lot

You might want to get a wet bag for when you are out and about and a "diaper pail" I use a plastic trash barrel

Usually you don't need to stuff and AIO (all in one) but some do have a pocket for optional booster. I tried to find a site I used to like for all things fluff but I guess it doesn't exist anymore I did find these videos, just started watching it so not sure on how good they'll be, but so far so good
